The package design takes inspiration from the vintage weapon boxes featured in the series Peaky Blinders, where Cillian Murphy, the renowned Irish actor best known for his role as Thomas Shelby, leads the infamous Shelby crime family. Crafted for JH Boards as a special gift, the package was designed to house a custom skateboard and sent to Murphy himself.
Crafted with a blend of burned wood, leather, straw, metal hardware, and detailed graphics, the box embodies a distinctive and antique aesthetic. The interplay of these materials, along with the use of both an inner and outer box, strikes a perfect balance between rugged durability and refined elegance, making it a truly one-of-a-kind presentation.
This package included:
- Handmade outer box, crafted from wood, featuring an engraved lock and premium metal hardware, evoking a sense of timeless craftsmanship.
- Luxurious inner box, constructed from high-quality leather, carefully nestled in straw and adding a layer of sophistication to the overall design.
- Custom cruiser board, handmade by JH Boards
- Beautifully bound hardcover booklet, documenting the entire production process, complete with a personalized note.
- Skate tool, perfectly complementing the cruiser board and enhancing the overall functionality of the package.
